Abt the size of the Vit D. His mom has trouble swallowing, sometimes having to split a tablet, pill in pieces. Bet it won't have much filler, hehe. Glad your Dad will cover cost of your teeth! As you eyes are dry, holding a wet warm wash rag over them, might ease the discomfort. His mom depends on the OTC drops plus other rxes. The "soak" is for plugged tear ducts. Maybe the warm washcloth would help, but it won't be permanent. Wonder if Restasis might help. Sorry for all the discomfort. Sad isn't it. Wishing you Marion, a good weekend, free from discomfort!!

They have not approved the TAR from my pharmacy, yet, Carole, so i really have no idea about the size of the pill. It must be ginormous though.

I hope it will do the rick in jump starting my system too, Carole, because i sure could use a little help with my constant declining, poor health. Thank you for your good wishes.

I suppose that "D" deficiency is definitely not a thing of the past, but hopefully soon will be.

BTW, i wish i had never gotten that eye surgery, because both eyes are so very dry and badly blood shot, all around. They look like Halloween (monster) eyes and hurt and burn all the time. Still taking all those drops, plus moisturizing drops.

Next in line will be my teeth. My dad is going to pay for them. Told Western Dental to BITE me and send my X-Rays and other pertinent records over to my regular dentist.

I have been trying to sleep, but been so busy with appointments, visitors and phone calls. No rest for the wicked, huh? I must be pretty evil, because i sure can't get any rest around here.

Doctor's office called me a while ago, changed my schedule too, for the 11th of September, for that nerve conduction test at 9 o'clock in the morning. Said there was no other time available and those people that run the test are only there, once a month.

Thanks for caring, my friend. Have a good night, hugs, Marion

Marion, just wondering. Have any idea idea what size pill/tablet, etc will you have to swallow? Hopefully, it will jump start your system? I thought vit d deficiency was a thing of the past, here in the US.

Yes, it is, Dora, but this 50,000 units each, is a therapeutic dose, to jump start my system (one per week, for 4 weeks). Once medi/medi approves it, it will cost me $3.20 or $1.10, or even nothing. Can't beat that, not even at Walmart. LOL

Have a good night, my friend. Hugs, Marion

Taht seems like alot when the RDA is 400 IU. Now, I know that some of us may need several times that, but Walmart has a two bottles for six dollars of something like 60 1000 IU vitamin D3 pills each.

I understand, Dora, but my doctor wants me to have 4 pills at 50,000 units each. Pharmacies and others do not sell them like that, over the counter.

Thanks for the tip though. Have a great day. Hugs, Marion

At Walmart, vitamin D is not expensive at all.

No, my doc prescribed 50,000 units of D, but the pharmacy has to get it approved (that'll take a while).

Thank you for being so understanding Sharon. I hope you are feeling well and have a wonderful week. Hugs, Marion

You no longer need to take the cod liver oil liquid, Marion, as they have it in a capsule so you do not have to take it (:
How horrid to make you watch butchering..what a sadist!
I thought it was bad enough when I was young to see chickens and piglets and know eventually they would turn up at supper. I did not eat that night, well I did but my mom respected my attitude and fixed me something else.
Of course there were several dairy frmers in the family with eggs/chickens and several butchers from a great gradfather whomwas in the Civil war to several uncles and even cousins. None left in farming or the butcher trade now but none of them would have done hat sort of thing to a child! I can understand you not caring to eat meat.
Hugs,
Sharon
